Leather Shotgun Cartridge Pouch & Belt Set

Our redesigned Shotgun Cartridge Pouch was introduced in November 2024.  Both the design and material have changes, but of course it’s still hand ‘built’ from start to finish.

The pouch now uses a ‘gussetless’ design which results in beautiful curves at both the side and front.  We’ve also moved to using oak bark tanned bridle shoulder from J&FJ Baker of Colyton Devon.

For the belts, we use J&FJ Baker oak tanned bridle butt which is a sturdy 5mm thick.  Our solid brass and steel buckles are produced by Abbey England.

This leather is produced in 4 stages over a 14 month period.  First, slow oak bark tanning preserves and softens fibres.  Second, natural oils like cod oil and tallow nourish and condition the leather.  Third, hand-finishing techniques stretch and massage it.  Finally, waxing and conditioning enhance flexibility, protect the surface, and add sheen.

• Pouch Fit – Designed to fit a 1.5” (38mm) wide belt, that will sit around your waist or over a shooting jacket
• Belt Size - the pouch is designed to be worn on a belt around the waist or over clothing.  As such, we take the waist size given as the primary hole and add 2 holes below this and 4 above, giving a total of 7 holes.  Please contact us if you require anything different to this.
