Set - Leather Shotgun Cartridge Box Holder & Belt

This set consists of our cartridge box holder and a hand stitched leather belt.

For the holder, we use oak bark tanned bridle shoulder from J&FJ Baker of Colyton Devon and for the belt we use oak bark bridle butt. 

Both are produced in 4 stages over a 14 month period.  First, slow oak bark tanning preserves and softens fibres.  Second, natural oils like cod oil and tallow nourish and condition the leather.  Third, hand-finishing techniques stretch and massage it.  Finally, waxing and conditioning enhance flexibility, protect the surface, and add sheen.

Our belts come with a hand made brass or stainless steel buckle from Abbey England.

• Belt Size - the holder is designed to be worn on a belt around the waist or over clothing.  As such, we take the waist size given as the primary hole and add 2 holes below this and 4 above, giving a total of 7 holes.  Please contact us if you require anything different to this.

J&FJ Baker exclusively uses hides from locally raised livestock on free-range farms. As a result, natural characteristics such as crease marks and minor scars may be visible, enhancing the leather's distinctive patina. Slight variations in tone may occur between batches, as each piece is truly unique and reflects the authenticity of the animal's life spent outdoors.
